Do I need to sign up to try it?
No. You can record your first hour without an account. Sign in with Google later if you want a permanent home for your notes — the free tier then gives you 500 minutes of lifetime recording.
How different is this from my phone's voice memos?
Phones record raw audio files. VoxNota transcribes, cleans, and indexes every note. Dates, action items, and key points are surfaced automatically, and everything is searchable by what you said — not just by filename.
What happens to my recordings?
VoxNota is GDPR-compliant and your notes stay yours. Our terms of service set out exactly how we handle your data, and you can delete any note — or your entire account — at any time.
Which languages are supported?
VoxNota transcribes in your original language rather than forcing English. Major European and Asian languages are supported out of the box; mixed-language recordings work too.
Do I need to install anything?
No installation required. VoxNota runs in any modern browser on desktop or mobile. You can also save it to your home screen to use it like a native app.
What happens when I reach my plan's recording limit?
You can still read, search, and export everything you've recorded. To capture new notes, delete older ones to free up minutes, or upgrade your plan from your profile.
Can I export my notes?
